Just curious as I'm getting different answers on this, how secure should a vertical flue be? Mine goes out of the attic, at every join I can remove it. The extension out of the roof just lifts off with ease. There's two brackets on there loosely but every piece of flue can just be pulled off. Any advice would be appreciated!
I'm unable to upload a photo or video as I think they're too big, here's a link to them

Each section should be screwed together. Zoom in to see the little dimple on each collar where a self-tapper should go - one on each side. And obviously the brackets need tightening. That would be a fail if I was testing but easy to remedy. Bit baggy through the roof slate too!

Thank you, yeah this is exactly what I thought. The company who installed this are saying that its perfectly fine and that they've followed all regulations when fitting...

    Classed as AR.
    But it needs urgent attention.
As mentioned each section of flue and fitting needs screwed together.
Also needs a few more clamps.

Thanks! I'll be using these replies plus other stuff as evidence to make them come back out to rectify it

What make is the boiler? Download some instructions or look in the manual if you have it and you’ll see details of how the flue should be assembled.

It's a worcester bosch greenstar i, 30kW. I've had a glance in the manual but it's not clear to me at all of how it should fit together or how the brackets are fitted

Mike’s attachment above is just as good.
