Boiler radiator light turns off?

Hi, I'm just wondering if the following is an issue.

Basically when I have my heating on, the light which is next to the radiator symbol on my boiler is on, indicating the heating is on.

Now, when I turn my hot tap on, this radiator light goes out, and the light for the tap symbol turns on.

Is this correct behaviour? I've never noticed it before and just wondered if I'm overthinking it?

I've attached an image to show the radiator light on the boiler.

Yes, normal behaviour for a combination boiler - definitely overthinking it. That’s how they work, they are known as hot water priority and the heating light would come back on once the call for hot water has ceased.
