Evening chaps, Working on a house at the minute where the plumber has installed the heating with the main flow and return around for the radiators in 22mm copper. But in each room he puts on a plastic joint on both flow and return with 12mm copper tap offs going to each radiator. This means that the main copper doesn't go any further than 5 or 6 metres before it hits a plastic joint and therefore breaking the earth continuity to the next piece of heating pipe. So the question is. How do I earth these properly in conformance with the regs? Do I link the copper under the floor? and would I have to bond every radiator in the house? I don't particulary fancy that one as it would look **! Cheers [Edited by: admin12]
I would think that you are only concerned with special locations ie bathroom/shower room ..Carry out suplementary boding in the bathroom /shower room and forget the rest...No?
