    Guys
I think this boiler is on the way out.I need to stick with oil I think, as we live in the middle of nowhere, no gas available.
I would like hear your opinions as to what should I have fitted to replace it please. Also ideally I want to be rid of the combi situation and store some hot water so's we can fill the bath in less than a week and also run a shower (not at the same time tho')It's a three bed house with two bathrooms, but only myself and her indoors live here!

Oil combis are still miles behind high output gas ones.
Not sure about your present one, but most existing oil combis have thermal stores in them, so no other model will be as good as an unvented cylinder & standard condensing oil boiler.

So find a location in your home for a cylinder & you are sorted.

Slap some solar panels up as well and make your oil last longer.

the way the price of oil is going solar panels will soon pay for them selves.
