    Hi everyone

I have recently purchased a 1970's flat that is in a bit of a state. There was a historical problem with sagging in the concrete lintels above the windows. These have since been reinforced but a side effect is was that the upvc window frames have bowed into two of the rooms. It is a very small amount (not even 1mm) but enough so that the seal is not tight, causing a lot more noise to filter through.

I am thinking of replacing the existing seals with larger ones to give a tighter hold where needed. Does anyone have experience with this sort of issue and are there any recommendations on brands etc?

    Thanks!

Which seals are you actually talking about ? The glass seals or the opening window seals ?

I’m talking about the foam weather seals for the opening windows
