Brexit explained simply

Can't see what point you're trying push but I see ladyboy and his c/j lackey both like it so it must be bad.

How does " they have been invaded a hell of a lot more often than we have" detract the point made?

Within 'NATO' they are second only to the ,US, in terms of percentage of GDP spent on defence, and the, US has never faced an invasion of any credibility throughout its history.

There are historical and - more recently - social & political reasons why Greece's army is as relatively large as it is. The more recent 'social & political' reasons follow the pattern of the Greek government making jobs and providing wages for services that were inefficient, over-subscribed and largely unjustified, part of a pattern throughout Greek society which was unsustainable and was inevitably going to bite them in the bum at some point, until the CC of 2008 brought it to a head. I think we all understand this?

So, yes, the cost of maintaining that army was undoubtedly a contributing factor to Greece's financial woes. As was every else.

To try and target the blame for Greece's woes on the cost of the army is simply silly, in fact disingenuous; very u-s. For another suspect to try and maintain this argument is just Longsie.

As apposed to you muttering about leavers in general.....

"When have I ever muttered?" he muttered to himself.

JJ raises a valid issue amongst his usual drivel.

I try - since there was a valid issue lurking in there - to give an answer.

Longsie searches my post for a cheap shot. Doesn't find one. So fires another blank instead.

And soooo the cycle of the SF Forum continues.

Do you reckon it is Phil the Paver? It would explain a lot.

He was off-the-wall rancid that guy.

I'm literally on my way to the airport flying to Greece, ill let you know who they blame for their troubles when I've asked a few locals.

I wonder what sort of Greeks you mix with?

Anyhoo, don't let the impending peril of the UK spoil yer holiday - have a good one :)

Accepted out of thin air I presume, since non was proffered.
Of course your agreement with what, Filly had previously stated; "the % of GDP spent on defence is quite hight, and could have been a contributing factor toward their financial woes", isn't an apology.
The reason being is that people who are prolific liars, those whom regularly 'make things up', things that don't reflect reality, well... they tend to forget what they've said and it always comes back to bite them.

And your point is?
