Brexit. What do you think you will lose?

Ahh, sorry chip. I will not continue in this thread. Perhaps you could also start one about the EEC. ?
 
The possible freedom of just going on a European holiday without to much hassle at boarders is one thing that would be a loss.

It's hard work but I think it's useful and I feel better for it. Thank you.
 
Its focussed people on saying what's meaningful to them. That's a start.

I don't have any ties to Europe,either family or business, so I won't have any sense of a loss.
 
So to summarise. We lose the feeling that we’re part of a community of nations and the opportunity for precocious children to show their linguistic diversity?

With points like these, you know what else you’ll lose?

The argument.
 
It's much easier to be negative than positive and as brexit seems to be getting softer and softer what it seems we will lose is our place at the table and all the exemptions and rebates that involved while still paying the price to be a member.
We will have no influence over the rules while still having to abide by them and pay the price.
This could be taken as a leavers post but it isn't, if we stay in we are in a position of power, out of it we aren't.
If you listen to the right wing papers in the UK, all owned by off shore companies, they will tell you what they want you to believe, that immigrants are the problem, that Brussels are the problem, that the poor and homeless are the problem, that benefit seekers are the problem, that everyone is the problem other than the money grabbers screwing the working class into the ground and destroying the NHS so they can add a bit bit more tax free money to their coffers.
The reason why they hate Europe is they have no influence there, in GB the tories kowtow to them because of their power outside of this no-one gives a monkies.
 
Hang on here, I made a thread so the pro brexit could make their point without criticism and it worked well.
I then made a thread where the remainers could post and it is full of brexiteers criticising.
Bog off back to your own thread and respect what is trying to be built here.

????? It says as per title, "what are you going to lose", I pointed out something, you then turned it into a "that's, for you" reply. :rolleyes::rolleyes:
 
These posts are supposed to be positive, most of the leavers posts on here are negatives.
I may have given the thread the wrong title but I asked for opinions and nobody stepped up to the mark.
I would prefer that the leavers posted on their forum and the remainers posted on ours and that btiw2 was the adjudicator.
He has already given an opinion that the remainers aren't making a good defence of their position and that's fair.
Can the leavers now leave our post alone and give us the respect we gave them.
