BREXIT, Who Is Laughing Now?

Bad spelling I agree.

And before anybody gets too offended by my education remarks.

I am not as well educated as my equivalent European!

What do you call somebody who speaks 2 languages ? Bi lingual?

Somebody who speaks 3 or more languages? Multi lingual?

Somebody who only speaks 1 language? Why, British, of course

Ive walked over 4 borders.
Oh, and ive biked in belguim, netherlands, germany and denmark

And i speak a little german and french, but no way am i fully competent

This should prove ive been in europe a lot, not just on me jolly hols
Marvelous, good for you. Ya must have been to some nice places, but how do you come to the conclusion that those on the continent are better educated than indigenous Brits? Does everyone you meet over there produce a folder containing their academic achievement certificates, as a matter of course? Just so ya know how well educated they are.
Or, are they 'generally' welcoming and kind towards you, just as the overwhelming majority of people in this country behave when they meet foreigners over here.
Nowt to do with education, it's simply what most people are like.

In answer to the title, I am.
All these Brexiters crying because the soverignity of parliament has been upheld. :p:p:p:p
On another forum I frequent, someone has stated that "Parliament is supreme " Yeah right, I think this shows that the High Court (together with it's unelected judges) is supreme. Still I hold out hope that Article 50 will be triggered. After all, it is the will of the people. (parliament ,, and the courts would do well to remember that)

Have a laugh while ya can, marra, but if this ends up the way it's looking, who'd you think over 17million people will be voting for come the next GE?
Tories? Depends on how they handle it.
Labour? Now I'm laughing.
UKIP? Or maybe something worse than them,,, have a think about that!
Still laughing?

Is the Monster Raving Loony Party still going?

Joiner J, I do admit that petrol prices would have gone up, but the truth of the matter is that oil is sold in dollars. In effect, the falling value of the pound means you need more pounds to buy $1 of oil. There lies our problem. For some businesses, petrol is a major ''materials'' requirement for their daily operations. How much of this rising costs can they pass onto their customers without experiencing falling sales?
And the annoying thing about all this? IT'S SELF INFLICTED.
For all those who keep saying: ''It'e early days yet, things will soon get better and we will have our country and soverienity back'', eeerrmmm, think again. THE ONLY WAY FORWARDS, IS DOWNHILL FROM HERE ON. I hope and pray that will not be the case, but I think it will be. We have deliberately destroyed our kids future.

Haha. Do you realise how silly and uninformed you are? You swallow that drivel peddled by the Daily Mail and simply regurgitate it like a moron.

Have you ever thought for yourself and formed your own opinions or do you simply read a headline and believe it without question? So silly. Would put you in a difficult position if tomorrow's headline was "joinerjohn1 is an idiot" wouldn't it?

The fact that one of the judges formed a an EU related legal group is irrelevant. Think about what he has actually done. All he has done is (i) interpreted UK constitutional law based on his expertise and (ii) using that expertise said that the law (remember this is UK law not made by the EU) means that the question of whether to leave the EU must be voted on by Parliament. Where has he said that Brexit won't happen?

Please read the full judgment (here: ) and tell me where exactly it says that he has 'blocked Brexit? Seriously tell me. That's right.... it doesn't say that. However you wouldn't know as that's not in the Daily Mail.

If your mate in the pub said "ere John Screwfix sell rockets for £10 a bag that will fly you to the moon" you would tell him to shut up with his bullsh*t nonsense wouldn't you. Why don't you question the hatred-filled carp that the Daily Mail writes then?

I am not kidding. I am not being facetious. I am not being glib.

Some of the front pages of some of our national newspapers are truly scary.

The three judges who carried out the letter of the (British) law are now 'enemies of the people'.

This is mindless populism writ large. Beware 1930s Europe.

Nope, not laughing.

That's really depressing :(.
