Might be a bit of a silly question but how do I buy colour paint from a Dulux centre or find out how much it is as I can't seem to find it online?
Go to your local Brewers ... they're by far the best paint suppliers to the trade and to the consumers.
Go to B&Q and look at Dulux Retail and double the price for Dulux Trade. Dulux Trade is available from Wickes and other DIY sheds. Brewers are top end with prices.
Can sometimes find cheaper online, one I can recommend. http://www.thepaintshed.com/products/trade-paint/c-24/c-122
I believe there may be two versions of Trade - or so I was told by a Dulux employee. Trade from some of the DIY sheds is not the same as supplied from the Dulux Trade Counters and which versions is available in other specialists you need to check.
Correct, Astra mentioned it other day in a thread. Trade covers better & larger area per litre, higher spreading rate than retail. And they a different pigment & formulation in the professiional trade, compared to retail trade.
Haven't tried it yet Kiab. For vinyl matt etc, I dont think there's much to choose between J and D. I'm not painting everyday so I'm sure others will have different opinions.
Heard the same, Dulux Decorator Centre 'Dulux Trade' is not the same mix as used by other trade outlets !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it is apparently a superior quality!!!!!!!!!!! only heard this though so can not comment as how true that comment is.
Nest time you are in a Dulux centre, which will be a lot sooner than I am, take a picture of the bar code on a typical item such as 2.5l, brilliant white emulsion, then check against on in a Shed.
