need your help guys going to run electric to my shed at the end of the garden using armoured cable, is there a minimum depth for the cable to be buried and what distance above the cable should the yellow underground warning tape be laid
Sand only neccessary if the soil is likely to damage the cable due to stones etc. Many soil types are perfectly fine for direct burial, and in fact, many soil types are very sandy!
