Morning, i bought a fused spur yesterday to feed power to an outside light which has 2x 3.4w led bulbs in it. The cable from the light to the spur is 1metre of 0.75mm flex and i have put a 3a fuse into the spur. Before connecting the spur into the plug socket below am i right in thinking that the feed cable from the plug to the spur needs to be 2.5 t&e? Cheers

Yes. The spur must be connected to the existing circuit using the same size and type of cable as used in the main circuit you're spurring from.:) IMG_0551.jpeg

You must check to ensure that the socket you are connecting to is not a spur off the ring, but is connected directly to the ring. Everything else is fine.
