When I retired in 1965 I bought a CAMRY
I sill have it 127K miles.
They are big and cheap second hand
Mine is 2.2ltr but being retired I dont do as many miles.
But look the up in google
Really worth a punt

You retired before I was born and bought a CAMRY before they were made.

Japanese cars, Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Mazda, Suzuki, Daihatsu, Lexus.
Can’t fault the list but I don’t think Daihatsu is being imported any more. Besides both Daihatsu and Lexus are part of Toyota. Missing from list is Subaru. Nissans, while Japanese from a brand point, are nowadays reclothed Renaults with all the issue that brand has.

Are you suggesting lemonade should get a DeLorean? They don’t have much space.
It’s the flux capacitor ! Takes up all the room :D. Besides with that Renault engine and gearbox it probably tops out at 88miles per hour, but just enough to get the job done !

Sorry :D. Trying to cater to the 10K budget and the fact that the op didn't know what any car with a Japanese badge was.

No offence implied or intended :D . Just a thought surge after rebooting the brain following watching the future PM debate on the BBC ;)

Probably a Nissan then!.....although back to the future means it's a Datsun.
They bought back the Datsun brand as a low cost brand (like Dacia for Renault or Skoda for VW) in many Asian countries but people shunned away from these so the brand was pulled. One of the models was called Datsun Go. Aptly named as it soon went into oblivion :D

Non taken.

The debate was awful Riski Sunak kept interrupting Liz Truss and showed himself to be a man that doesn't listen and at best is a control freak.

And the Toyota Corolla is made in the UK.

Nissan was the biggest car manufacturer in the UK until the resurgence of JagLR put it down to 2nd and I think Toyota is 4th after Mini (BMW).

I asked what cars are Japanese because people say toyota is Japanese but my yaris is french.
You said you didn't wany a Yaris 'cos they're going for stupid money. Do you want a small car? That Skoda above is supposed to be an ideal family car, is it too big? Family cars are, to me, ones you can get a lot of adults/children/friends/stuff in, not mini cars.
