Hi Guys My first time posting here, so let me know if I am posting in the wrong place or if i'm missing anything. I am trying to identify this washer in this image I need to buy a load for our company but I cannot seem to find this exact type. It needs to be this exact one for the size. The specs are internal diameter - 8.4mm external diameter - 12.5mm Thickness - 1.6mm I think it is steel. I have found plenty that have an internal of 8.4 but an external of 16, and an external of 12.5 but an internal of 6.4. If anyone can shed some light on what these are called, or where I might find them to order I would greatly appreciate it. Regards Jon
I'd say m8. Like you can only find 8.4 x 16 x 1.6 There's a company that'll malke them to your speck. But not sure how much it'd cost..... https://www.ukstainless.co.uk/stainless-steel-washers-made-to-order.html
Technically speaking what you describe is a shim and not a washer. Washers spread the load over an area, whereas shims separate. https://www.fabory.com/en_GB/shim-ring-din-988-steel-2-k-50-plain-h=0,5mm/p/38585 there is one that’s close to what you want.
