cement on slabs

    How do I get cement off slabs?Made a dryish sand and cement mix to brush between the slabs it rained and wash some back onto the slabs,used a power wash and got a lot off but theres still cement marks on the slabs .wife is moaning like **** so I need your help guys

    Brick acid? would that work........it may eat into the top coat of your slabs but I suppose thats a given if they are cement slabs!

    I know its too late but in the future...
    a little dodge I use is to wrap the slabs in cling film before setting in mortar.

    A powered wire brush might do it if the area's not too great.

    brick acid and brush down.

    Just follow the instructions and wear eye protection.

    Thanks guys,were can I get the brick acid?Screwfix dont seam to sell it or am I wrong?

    Most merchants sell it SF wont sell it - it's not safe to deliver through the normal post.

    Be careful, too much and it will eat into the slabs. It is always better to wet point by hand, slow and tedious maybe but much better and neater.
