    Hi

I've just had a WB Greenstar 30Ri fitted to replace a dodgy Ideal Icos I had. I have an old heating/water controller fitted underneath the boiler in the utility room, and two old wheel turn thermostats in the house. I purchased a Nest as well to update the system.

The engineer that fitted the boiler said that I cannot put the Nest in place of one of the old turn wheel thermostats as I would have to use it under the boiler to replace the old controller. Is there a way of doing this? Ideally I don't want the Nest under the boiler as it isn't designed to be put in a back room.

Both the old turn wheel thermostats are hard wired if that helps (probably obvious!)

    Any help much appreciated!

Get yourself a sparky in to re- configure your system, these modern controls can be fitted most places without to much hassle
