You didn't mention gas I bet you have the heating on this morning, technology is there to capture co2 from coal burning now.

 

Even if MMCC is nonsense, who can argue against the brilliant developments in renewable energy sources? To be less dependent on the likes of Russia and the Middle East for our fuels? To have fresher cleaner air to breathe?

It's a win-win as far as I am concerned now. Even if CC is natural, we have still made a good decision to cut back on Foss Fuels.

 

Would they be the natural resources that nature supplies for us or shall we use man made power that could kill us all.

The largest proportion of this planet is water, the biggest contributor of CO2 gases is water. Let's drain the planet's to save it.

In case it's the former, tell us how many deaths have occurred from the generation of Nuclear Power, and a rough estimate of those from the use of Fossil Fuels.

 

Yes I have the heating on, gently.

I have ensured my house is as well insulated as I can make it too.

But it doesnt mean i am not hurting the planet. I try to be aware of my responsibilities and my footprint on the world, and look out for others too.

I dont waste any fuel. I try to buy locally where possible, my small attempt at anti globilisation. Others happily use internet shopping to buy everything they can, regardless of the fuel cost, and making other countries wealthier than us at the same time.

Well I suppose they will run out at some point so some of the man made ideas are ok, but let's not forget, most of the ideas bring used are simply being used to generate a very large income for a very few.

But fossil fuel have been used for centuries, the world is billions old so all in all our time on this planet is less than a second as we know it, so us causing irrepairible damage is scare mongering almost on the scale of Brexit.

 

Death for nuclear power fall out are recorded, number unknow without looking it up.
Death for natural resources is pure speculation, unless you wish to include people who died in house fires caused by a burning ember, of people killed in vehicles power by fossil fuels etc etc.

 

Yes right up until the late 1800's all those street lights, cars, planes, central heating, factories, energy plants were working flat out werent they.

So its not really a relatively recent problem is it !
