They do yes but if the floor is nice and flat they are very safe. The small ones do a bit of shaking about when fully extended.
So do you think that the floor in a cherry picker is not nice and flat? They do yes but if the floor is nice and flat they are very safe.
If you go over a small imperfection in the floor you feel it in a cherry picker basket, hence why you need a harnessSo do you think that the floor in a cherry picker is not nice and flat?
yes but that is the same if you go over the same in a scissor lift tooIf you go over a small imperfection in the floor you feel it in a cherry picker basket, hence why you need a harness
But it wouldn't jump you into the airyes but that is the same if you go over the same in a scissor lift too
You are sort of right but not right, that isnt the reason for the restraint,If you go over a small imperfection in the floor you feel it in a cherry picker basket, hence why you need a harness
Just say you're wrong and apologise. You are sort of right but not right, that isnt the reason for the restraint,
OK then put it this way, I use a cherry picker mounted on a van so I am not actually driving it when extended and in the bucket, there is a reason for us being restrained and it isnt the reasons you are statingBut it wouldn't jump you into the air
Good point.OK then put it this way, I use a cherry picker mounted on a van so I am not actually driving it when extended and in the bucket, there is a reason for us being restrained and it isnt the reasons you are stating
Now apologise and say I am right, I am greatGood point.
You was due one
No mate.OK then put it this way, I use a cherry picker mounted on a van so I am not actually driving it when extended and in the bucket, there is a reason for us being restrained and it isnt the reasons you are stating
Never used a van mounted one so don't know the rules but on one you can drive I am correctNow apologise and say I am right, I am great
It is quite possible to have a slide rail in a scissor lift to allow a 1m harness to slide from one end to the other without restricting you unecessarily, but they are not needed because you don't have the catapult action you get with a cherry picker.
Scissor lifts are stable at low level where a cherry picker will hurl you like a conker.
Nope pointless having a rail at one side of it, makes the full platform useless. We use both types and no need for a restraint only a harness in a scissor liftIt is quite possible to have a slide rail in a scissor lift to allow a 1m harness to slide from one end to the other without restricting you unecessarily, but they are not needed because you don't have the catapult action you get with a cherry picker.

yes I have said you are right but not right for the reasons you are stating, not all cherry pickers are mobile. Ours are classed as static as we cannot drive them whilst being used, we have outriggers on the van and can only operate the cherry picker once the outriggers are deployed.Never used a van mounted one so don't know the rules but on one you can drive I am correct
Not exactly at all, he is as usual wrong.Exactly
