Got a customer that has bought a bio ethanol fire. They want to install it in the builders opening but need the flue to be closed off. Otherwise the heat is just gonna float away, aswell as the draft the comes down it could kill! On a calm day it can turn the pages of a newspaper. I know there are flue bags which I have used before but I am concerned about the heat as they are made of plastic.
The room is completely finished so they don’t want to have to rip things apart.
They also think they may get a wood burner once they can so don’t want it bricked in permanently
Would Appreciate any ideas
cheers
