Combi Boiler Keeps Filling On It's Own Over Pressure.

    Heat exchanger pin holed or filling loop let by,

    Think I’m glad I looked this up, called to a job yesterday for the exact same thing, vokera compact external filling loop! Recharged the expansion vessel as needed done and at first assumed I’d over charged it. Was ok, been frying my nut ever since. Going hunting for another filling loop tomorrow

    If it’s a vokera compact se then the heating and HW share a heat exchanger.
    If the pressure keeps rising then it could be the heat exchanger at fault.
    Simply turn the water main off into the boiler and if the pressure stops rising then it’s the heat exchanger

    Yeah done that yesterday, when I had the expansion vessel out to recharge it, the top of the pump where the flexi connects into was constantly passing water after emptying the boiler obviously
