For my shed base I’m going to set concrete blocks in concrete, then bolt a frame made from tanalised 4x2 onto these. I’d like to lay a weed suppressant sheet but don’t know how best to do it.

Question 1 - do you think I need a weed sheet?

Questions 2 - if yes, do I concrete the blocks on top of the sheet or lay the sheet over the blocks after they have been concreted into the ground?

Thanks very much for any help you can give.

Why do you need a weed sheet under a shed? Weeds wont grow without light moisture and air - none of which should be found under a decent shed surely??

You might be better thinking about a dpm to protect the timber rather than something to hold back weeds.
