    Happy new year folks!

Im currently working on my kitchen, it had a concrete subfloor, 2x2 Battons then 18mm chip over the top. The concrete floor isn’t level so I should have around 70mm depth to work with.

My question is, is 70mm enough room for me to have wet underfloor heating? So 25mm insulation board leaving around 45mm concrete screed including the pipes?

Or should I just pour a concrete screed and forget about underfloor heating.

    thanks in advance, Sam

Yes it is, look up liquid screed as there are products available now which can go down to 17mm thickness or so, think there's a new one that can go down to half an inch, game changers.
