I Just wanted to know can you install a combination boiler condensate drain using press fit / crimp type stainless steel fittings with EPDM seals instead of the usual plastic drain pipe

The condensate is acidic and would corrode steel - that’s why plastic is used.

Copper pipe doesn't last too long, but why would you want to go to the expense of stainless steel unless it comes for nothing?
