    Hello

I need to connect a garden hose (plastic) to the input of a tap which is a 15mm compression fitting. Photos attached.

The hose outer diameter is about 16mm so just won't squeeze in properly. I'm DIYing a garden fountain. I think I need a separate adapter but I don't know what will work.

    Cheers for any suggestions

    Mike

Hozelock garden fittings and garden hose. You can`t compress an olive on to that soft pipe.

Short bit of copper into the fitting, heat up the hose and expand it over the copper end and a jubilee clip to hold it in place
