When connecting two wires together, is junction box the best product, or is there any others ?

Either use a CE marked junction box, or for low voltage 12v lighting circuits etc, use a choc-block, but inside an appropriate metal box, never loose, with a blank plate on the front.

To run spurs off a ring, the safest bet is an unswitched fused connection unit.

porcelain connectors are fine as long as they are suitable for the rated current you are going to run through them and they are installed in a correctly insulated or if metalclad, earthed enclosure which is touchproof and you cannot get your fingers into .
