Indeed, now whats your favourite colour. ☺☺
Looking at the Hitachi comments there are several complaining about the chuck coming loose!!!
Looks like i will get the Bosch
I'm a Makita fan,but I must confess that those multi-purpose bits are brill !
This look better? Near the point of buying one as been waiting to move house
Don't think you will ever buy one! This post started 5 months ago
House been on market...........Took ages to go through sale...........Living with in law now while purchase hopefully completes, thus, didn't want to rush out and buy one immediately!
Is that Hitachi the better one so far out of those linked?
Bosch has more 18v cordless range,so you could add more tools a later date, like impact driver.
That is the better one then?
Also, can someone recommend a decent drill / screw bit set?
Bosch or Hitachi?
Bosch, as in reply 87
What about a decent drill / driver set?
I use the Bosch Multipurpose bits, great for masonry, covers all the common sizes you need, but I did get an additional 5mm bit, as I sometimes use the smaller wallplugs for a few jobs.
There is a 7 piece, rather overpriced, but I can't find it cheaper, I find it better to buy the odd bit if needed for a job.
And screwdrive bits Dewalt, Wiha Maxxtor, it varies.
Getting combi tomorrow!
Why not treat yourself to Screwfixes 'Deal of the Day' that's on offer today.
I wouldn't use 80% of all that gear in that box
You would if you bought one, it's called an investment.
Cheap tat is another word
