    Step 1 - Yellow pages

Step 2 - Look under section that says aggregate

    Step 3 - phone around

Step 4 - go back to cheapest supplier

    Step 5 - complete works

Nah, it means you're a Twerp for not realising that country wide prices and carriage change dramatically so the only way is to ring around and take yer pick.

    Spot on ther sinewave.

I never understand why people come on here and ask how much something will cost when prices are diffrent over the whole country.

If I knew I wouldn't have bothered asking. So can you give me some sort of idea?

I need to build the height of my patio up by 40cm. Is this best done with Type 1, or by laying a different hardcore base first?

No problem. If you are based North West and want some decent/reliable/cheap suppliers I can give you a few merchants I deal with.
