Could you take a look at these copper pipes - How can you tell if they need to be replaced?

What about if I'm replacing all the rads and the copper pipes are imperial would you then most likely say "might as well rip out and redo"?

Also, bear in mind that one of the differences between imperial and metric pipe is the way they're measured...

In imperial pipes, 1/2" is actual the nominal inside diameter...
with metric 15mm is the outside diameter...

In practice, in my experience, the outside diameter of 1/2" copper pipe is so close to 15mm pipe that in most cases you can usually consider them interchangeable, even using solder fittings without a problem, just good cleaning. Compression fittings are certainly not a problem

With 3/4" and 22mm it's not quite the same... the solder fittings are not interchangeable, (though you can get adaptors, such as https://www.screwfix.com/p/solder-ring-adapting-couplers-22mm-x-2-pack/74038). You can use interchangecompression fittings , so long as you use 3/4" olives on 3/4" pipe.
