In my house the wood has all been painted with a gloss lead paint. The doors, the skirting and the windows.

I know I cant paint directly over the gloss and I dont want to sand it because of the dust and with it being lead paint. I have seen a few people recommend primers to create a bond for the new paint but wondered what people here would suggest.

    Thanks

Sand it over with Wet & Dry paper as that will stop the majority of the dust then simply just paint over it with two coats of Crown Solo.
