Crabtree SB6000 TYPE 1 MCB 32A FATMAN

    Hi everyone, this is my first post on here.

    Can anyone help me?

    I need a 32A TYPE 1 MCB to fit a Crabtree SB6000 consumer unit.
    I have tried my local wholesalers and they only stock the 610 type which is listed as a replacement for pre 1992 MCB's.
    These have the bottom screw set to the right. I need the type 1 which has the bottom screw over to the left.
    Does anyone know how I could contact Fatman, as he posted that he had some last month?

    Try a type 61. Think the screw is on the opposite side. Now type B type 1 long gone

    Hi Pengu,

    The one you posted the link to is the 610 type that Edmundsons & Neweys stock. The picture clearly shows quite a large strip of plastic to the left of the lower screw. My type 1 has only got 2mm on the left, but 5mm on the right.
    The MCB has a grey switch. It says in green (top to bottom) TYPE1 32A Crabtree.
    On the side it readss Crabtree SB6000 Category M6 BS3871. It also has 61151 over to the right of this.

    Hi Pengu,

    Edmundsons & Neweys stock. The picture clearly shows

    As its green and has 61151 almost certain its a type 61 the successor to the 610.

    Yeah.... but do phone them to ensure that what they have is the same as the piccys !
