Got this crack in my wall, will it be ok to just fill? As you can see in the picture it kind of overlaps so any help on how to go about it?

Rake out. Going to be bigger than you think and back to brick or laths. Plaster fill and maybe apply lining paper over to hold it all together..
Old property? Lime plaster on brick so it breaths a bit or internal lath plaster walls?

It's a 1950s property no idea what the walls are, can I just fill & sand somehow for now?
