Cutting a room threshold in laid laminate .. how ?

    As above, current laminate runs from hall through to living room but I want to replace the laminate in the hall.

    What is the best way to do this ?/

    Use a multi tool & straight edge.

    hmm, i dont have a multi tool ... maybe its time i invested :confused:

    Take up most of the halls flooring, at the door mark it where you what it cut and then slide it out from the remaining flooring cut and slide back.

    Good call Phil, just checked .. not 100 percent sure but It looks like the planks join more or less in the centre of the doorway.

    Drill a line of 5mm holes close together then use a chisel to cut away.

    Nice one ... at least one of these methods will be doable.
