    Hi

Now at 2nd floor level, so looking to order materials.
I am going to render the upstairs of the extension.
I was going to do thermalite for both inner and outer skin, just for ease of handling.
Looking at it, a decent render is still cheaper than bricks.
SO the question is thermalite for inner and outer and monocouche render (still cheaper than bricks)
OR thermalite and dense blocks outer and monocouche
OR thermalite and dense blocks and cement render

    any thoughts?

Thermalites inside skin, concrete block outside skin. Waste of money and pointless using thermalites on outside skin, can be more difficult to render over too.

Definitely concrete blocks outside, easier to render if using cement render or a monocouche render like Weberpral M or K Rend.
