direct or indirect copper cylinder tank

    have a tank in airing cupboard which needs replacing.the boiler heats the water in tank but have the option to use immersion as well.
    what type of tank do i require

    The plumber who is going to fit it will know which cylinder he requires when he looks at it, there's not enough info to say from your post,and in reality if you need to ask on here then you need to leave well alone.

    yes get a plumber in to advise, a new cylinder might be better replaced with a up to date system,
