Hi, i'm knocking up my own dormer (building control and structural engineers are involved)..

I've got the structure up, made it watertight, before i put the cladding on i'm unsure where to put the wakaflex lead flashing.

Do i put it ON TOP OF the breathable membrane then down on to the tiles

    OR

UNDER the membrane directly on to the plywood then on to the tiles and trim the membrane?

remove tiles all round tack felt on top of existing layered top to bottom so any rain flows off one and ontop of next NOT UNDER
    lead4 pound flat 3pound vertical
3 pound soakers 9" 3 up 6 flat so an l shape nailed to the battons from bottom to top so again waterruns off one onto the next with tile inbetween as you go up the roof
4 pound top lead again bottom up overlaping so rain runs down
OR just lay it on top in an l shap no joints easy some say better
its hard to explain but go and google will be a lot clearer pics are best
