    Hi all

I am a relatively experienced DIYer but outdoor electricity does worry me, so looking for some advice.

I have a professionally installed outdoor dual power outlet in waterproof box covered by an RCD at CU.

What I want to do is run an extension lead to another waterproof box with 4 way power board to then provide power to 230v led rope lights for the garden, power to a non-waterproof light fitting (used in the garden either under umbrella or in the open if dry and removed and stored inside when not in use, a phone charger/stereo and one spare power outlet.

The professionally installed power outlets are located on the wall of the house and the garden is only 5m x 7m. The additional waterproof box would be within 3m of existing and 230v led rope light would be run midway up the fence around the garden (say 20m long).

Is there anything wrong with this approach or dangerous that I am missing?

    Appreciate any advice or comments?
    Barry
