I think the issue is in the hinges. I found quite a few of and about the three inch size that come with a variety of engineering finishes. Some came countersunk, some just with a straight hole. Some are that thin they are seemingly punched through. Some will have a no8 proud, but let a no6 have no hold. Eventually I found what worked for me and paired up both the hinge and the screw accordingly.
By his absence it really does appear that HA has realised he is in the wrong. Does he acknowledge this or slink away silently. Wot a twot
A couple of days ago I was a "so called carpenter" and didn't know what I was talking about but now "Mr I'm always right" has realised he isn't he hasn't done the man thing and accepted it and apologised but has buggered off. What can I say.
Eventually I found what worked for me and paired up both the hinge and the screw accordingly. Says it all chippie. Mr. HandyAndy - Really
I'm waiting for you to do the man thing. And admit there's ALWAYS an alternative. Mr. HandyAndy - Really
dwlondon said he found what worked for him, and you congratulated him. Look, if it don't fit use something that does. THAT is the solution. Mr. HandyAndy - Really
