It takes a lot of courage to say all that, I am sure others on here have went through a similar patch. So its not just me then
Is this one of repeated patches, Jit? Or something completely new? Is there a 'cause' - like it's 'part of your make-up', or has something unexpected happened to trigger it? (Yep, I was gobsmacked when Phil opened up in a thread a while back - completely unexpected. Yes, it takes courage. But, y'know what? Not a single negative or unhelpful comment came in reply. As you say, it is surprisingly common, and I suspect the vast majority are touched to some extent by such issues with close family or friends.)
I don't know where to start.... Phil is absolutely right, we all have our own problems and no one is perfect, but most of the time we are afraid to admit it.
Hey whoa now, don,t make me out to be some kind of hero here, lol.I've got 2 kids I've not seen in ages,a few failed relationships.no proper job at the minute and it's all down to PTSD and Depression.I just want to help people avoid some of the grief I've been through if that's possible.
Its compassion Devs, I do care about people. When I first came on here nearly 3 years ago I had an anger issue But have realized that there are some good people here.
Yes I had anger issues too, then I realised it was down to the PTSD,I spent a large part of my life screwing things up for myself and other people,in my head I suppose I was trying to get back at somebody, all I did was hurt myself and a lot of people who didn't deserve it.
Anger issues? You two should get together - and knock 7 bells out of eacho... Oops - I must get a grip
Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. 'Post' refers to making posts on fora. 'Trauma' is what the readers experience. 'Stress' is what Mr Ha puts me under, and 'Disorder' is the whole universe. Easy really...
