Do people change?

She walks in to the forest, chainsaw slung casually over her shoulder, hair tumbling like a tousled unruly cloud, the low, golden evening sun creating the perfect back-lighting to her slim bod - and then she said "You get the wood..."

She was absolutely right.

(Soz - I'm ashamed
That girls an inspiration devs, wish I had the courage to do that.

Always wanted to work with wood, used to attend a green woodworking club a few years back, and they turned bowls and other things on a pole lathe foot driven, hard work but enjoyable.

Not sure about the table saw though:eek:, much braver than me

Devs you were too hard on her, need to be soft and gentle.

I really don't think I was.

I was trying to be completely honest and tackle her on her own issues. And all the time it should have been clear that my intentions & wishes were for the best for her.

Good point about 'intentions' made mistakes myself  sometimes as people we don't understand peoples intentions and get it wrong.

Was in a traffic queue today, some roadworks slowed down the traffics at the roundabout, cars pulled out blocking the others exit, and came to a standstill, could see people getting impatient and frustrated

While I sat there all calm :D

Used to get jealous of other people driving around in posh cars

But they may have worked hard to earn it, I just drive around in a little basic car now, part of the family now

Most of the posh cars and new cars on the road, are being driven about by people who don't actually own them.
And most likely never will. ;-).
It's all on the 'never never' or, a very tempting lease agreement.

Must keep up with the Jones's, mentality.

What do they say - if you give something 50,000 hours of practice, you'll be a virtuoso?

That could be true - it's worked for Mr Ha.

(He's given being a moron at least 50k hours of practice... snigger )

Yer, only another 50k hours of practice and I'll be a maestro, just like you(although I don't think I'll ever reach those heights)!

Mr. HandyAndy - Really
