Its just a hunch, it may be a shooting or a stunt staged by him, an odd reaction from someone like him to stand up straight after allegedly been shot and waving his fists in the air in victory. I would have expected him to be terrified and shaken up.

Probably hadn't realised what had happened, the security guards were very quick and fearless when they immediately surrounded and protected him.
Best wishes to him for a speedy recover whether you like him or not as he is a great peacemaker to the world.

I do not support Trump in any way but I do not think this was a stunt, someone behind Trump was killed by a stray bullet and the shooter was shot dead, too many deaths for a stunt. It will be interesting to see what party the shooter supported and what his motivation was. Unfortunately deselection down the barrel of a gun is too common in the USA, I wonder if this close call will change Trump's views on gun laws.

Violence and the level of aggression in politics is becoming all too common. We've had our own politicians murdered. And there were reports of threatening behaviour being used during the election process. We seem to have lost our ability to disagree with civility.
I wonder what's driving this change to increasingly hostile behaviour in political debate.
Does the internet make a difference, are people being encouraged in their extreme and aggressive views?

Trump, America surely needs this type of man in charge.
The democrats have tried to smear him they have tried to imprison him and they have tried to murder him, a bullet missed he’s head buy millimetres and still he waves he’s fist in triumph.
The shooter is said to be a Republican and the Americans will probably believe the spin, I think this failed assassination attempt has pretty much guaranteed Trump the presidency.
The alternative would be a man who is just too old to know what is happening around him its a sad fact of ageing that you can no longer think as well as you used to, Mr. Biden has proved this many times and should step down gracefully before he pushes the wrong button trying to order he's coffee.

He was obviously a useless shot as he missed Trump and killed someone else. I mean how could you miss the size of Trumps head with a powerful rifle. I doubt if it was a stunt but you can't help feeling this is just what he wanted to improve his running in the election in a sinister way. I'm glad he survived so as not to create more unrest in a very volatile nation.
