was part of Heads, Hands and Feet at the time of this recording, but I'll use his passing as an excuse to link to one of the most wonderful songs of all time.

    Relax and enjoy:

Tony Colton has a voice to die for. Albert Lee's fingers were nigh-on invisible in motion. Chas was a superb bass player.

    And then he joined Dave...

Chas was indeed a superb bass player. Dave Peacock is no slouch either. Both, superb musicians.

Saw them play a couple of times over the years at biker type events, always good for a laugh.

    RIP Chas.

On TV some years back there was a biopic about the life of Joe Meek called 'Telstar'. It was a wonderful film, tragic ending where Meek was broke having not received the royalties from Telstar so shot his landlady then himself. His session musicians at his studio above a shop included Chas Hodges, Richie Blackmore and Mitch Mitchell.
He's certainly been around in the music biz, RIP Chas.

Brilliant film, a lot of the real musicians had cameos as different characters.
