On TV some years back there was a biopic about the life of Joe Meek called 'Telstar'. It was a wonderful film, tragic ending where Meek was broke having not received the royalties from Telstar so shot his landlady then himself. His session musicians at his studio above a shop included Chas Hodges, Richie Blackmore and Mitch Mitchell. He's certainly been around in the music biz, RIP Chas.
