    Hi All,

Im fitting a new door casing, cut everything to size and notched out the header for the legs. The problem i have is the wood leg batons that the door casing is secured to, are not particulary secure to the block either side (they is a gap which was originally filled with mortar the whole way up which has since all dropped out). It goes from the ceiling down the rough opening and nailed to the floor board. They seems to be a couple of nails through the batons into the cinder block but its all crumbly and has probably been disturbed removing the old casing.
If anyone could help me and give me any advice what to do to secure the batons it would be much appreciated!!! Hope it m

    Regards

    Jonny
