A contractor came to fix our karndean today and noticed the following.

    1. The frame or sill the windows are sat in is split in the corners.

    2. One of the windows isn’t sitting flush in the sill.

    Is this normal?

Just need as much as info as possible so I can go to the site builder.

Why is he commenting on windows if he's there for the floor? It's not ideal but it's not the end of the world either, it depends whether the cill was one fused piece or two mitred pieces, either way unless it's letting water in it can be fixed with a bead of silicone, same for the misaligned window though it's a bit bodgey.

Because there was signs of water ingress.

He was a contractor not a specialist flooring person.
