I am dry lining a new extension, my concern is when i come to fix the curtain rail when it is finished as i am dry lining with 35mm thermal board. should i glue a piece of wood into the lintel so i can screw the curtain rail into or would it be ok with a plasterboard plug?

    Many thanks

all you need to do is make sure where you are going to put the screws make there is adhesive behind the board, then it will be solid and go through into board, through adhesive and into wall...will be fine adhesive is like concrete when it sets
