    Hi All

Wondering if I could get a bit of help please.

I am getting 10 double glazed units replaced as they are misted. I have had three variable quotes from Fensa registered glazers but am unsure what to be looking out for (I know you don't need Fensa when replacing the units but thought at least they wouldn't be dodgy installers):

    1) £482 + vat (3 toughened glass units - 2 in door and one to side of door)
    2) 715 + vat (4 toughened glass units- 2 in door and either side of door)
    3) 940 + vat (6 toughened glass units)

They were all seemed nice and were all providing low-e glass, 5 year guarantees. Would anyone know if the quotes were too low (to provide quality they said) or over the top? I'm on a budget as I'm slowly doing up my flat but don't want to cut corners.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

I know that, usually it's a 28mm DG sealed unit, BUT you can get difference thickness spacer bars, 8mm 10mm,12mm, 18mm, 20mm,etc, so your DG unit will be a different overall thickness...

Have a look at this link:

I don't get you...I looked at the photo attachment and it states 4/20/4 (some are 'T'= toughened) so its a 20mm spacer bar. No assumption..?
