Double Insulated Bathroom Mirror

Hey, does anyone know where to buy a double insulated bathroom mirror. Just got a new bathroom fitted and the wire used for the mirror was joined to another wire which doesn't have an earth connected. I have hunted high and low for a double insulated mirror with no joy so far.

Since the only part of an electrically heated or lit mirror that you can touch is non-conductive glass, then the concept of double insulation becomes moot and it may be that an earth isn't really required

There are plenty of class 2 ,double insulated, bathroom mirrors around. Have you done a Google search ?
Good point.
I just did Google "class 2 ,double insulated, bathroom mirror" and there are hundreds of responses.

Not really, mine has a metal cabinet.

I wish that was true, my electrician advised it was unsafe 🙁

Google was my 1st port of call, unfortunately very few are class II double insulated when you read the spec. Hence why I thought you guys might be able to advise

I've had a look I cant find any.

This wont help but why does the new cable not have an earth?

It wasn’t the electrician. Apparently the folk who lived in my house before joined 2 wires together, the wire you see in the bathroom has an earth but the one they joined to the fuse box doesn’t (it’s a red & Blk cable) so when I got my bathroom done this year and they used a cable that was in the ceiling (not actually knowing what it was for) and unfortunately isn’t earthed and refused to change it as they put a new ceiling up. So I’m kinda stuck just now lol 😂 the mirror was my favourite part as well. Electrician had to rewire my kitchen and put a new fuse box in when he discovered it wasn’t earthed.

Thats a shame as our mirror makes the bathroom.
Is there no way of pulling a new cable in on the old?
