drilling 15mm holes in tiles

    Hi, been asked to drill 15mm holes in the tiles for the radiator pipes, how do i do this.... measure exactly and cut precisely and which drill bit/hole saw shall i buy for this job?

    Use a diamond coated holesaw, B&Q now do them for about £10 each or get off the net for less, try richon the sets are the best value.

    Use something like an 18mm hole for 15mm pipe

    thanks isn't the richon site international? hence longer delivery.... and once i do get one what is the technique to drill correctly, even to measue rightly...

    They are in Hong Kong, del usually take sabout 5 days.

    If you are not sure of being able to measure it correctly then make a paper template

    i just use the 16mm dewalt extreme masonary bit from screwfix,gives a nice snug fit to 15mm pipe,measure twice drill once,it helps to drill a small pilot hole first,dont bother with them from b&q load of rubbish,use a circular file if your hole is slightly out,
