    Hi All

    hope everyone is doing well.
Parents wish to paint their driveway rather than changing the entire driveway.

what sort of paint is best for outdoor driveway please?

    thank you

Concrete. Standard sort mixed and poured?
Not my area of knowledge but seen the printed concrete painted and wet look sealer over. Loads on ebay

    Thank you Wagners

they don’t want to put concrete over as I suggested that as well. The driveway is fine just the colour needs updating.

move seen the wet look sealants but after jet washing the entire drive, colours do not match so parents want to paint the driveway instead.

I have been suggested dulux outdoor paint but not sure if they’re good? I genuinely didn’t know you could even paint paving blocks!

Really need to choose products carefully and follow preparation and application to the letter

The risk is painting the driveway with a poor paint choice and/or lack of prep
Will look fantastic initially but soon start to wear off on areas subject to traffic

Take a look at these guys, they make some very specialised type paints, for concrete floors, driveways, warehouses, etc
Give them a call and discuss their recommended way forward and products

I would think a two pack paint system would be best option but, speak to the experts - no offence meant to anyone on this great forum !
