    Hi

A little behind in the time to reply to original post but never mind.

I believe upgrade to PME is now around £95.00. If you apply for it correctly and tick all the right boxes on the form you can, for the same price inclusive, request a 100A isolator switch, main tails upgrade to meter and main earth conductor upgrade.

Just a couple of things about regs. Earthing conductor sizes AND main bonding sizes are in the regs. Main bonding size is related to the size of the incoming NEUTRAL. See table 54H. For PME where tails are 25mm2 the main earth will always be 16mm2 and the main bonds 10mm2. As for the NAPIT assessor saying main bonds should be 16mm2...unbelievable...but hey its okay to do them bigger than min, just a waste of copper and money!

    Happy New year Roy!

    Baldy,

Tell your Napit Chappy the IEE/IET write the regs not him.

16mm Bonds as UP says waste of time and money and with the ever increasing price of copper its a valid point.
