I am thinking of purchasing the EBS Single box set sinker (item 91308) but I am unsure as to what SDS to get.

I was thinking about buying the cheap 5kg Ferm SDS (94802) but my real hurdle is will it provide me with the power the go into really tough brickwork?

    Any suggestions appreciated!

luffo, have a read of the "box sinkers" thread lower down.

Sparky, sounds good to me. I have the 4kG 750W version and it is a bit heavy for the job.

My recomendation,go for the Makita super-mac its what I use its a bit pricey (about £300 from ITS london)but with 5 joules of power it will handle the job fine (and last a lot longer)
