Electric oven& gas hob

    I hope this the right thread. We’re replacing our gas oven with an electric oven but keeping the gas hob.

    Is there a minimum distance required between the back of the electric oven and the copper gas pipes. Our current gas oven depth is 523mm & the depth of the electric oven is 560mm. The work top is 600mm.

    No there isn't a minimum distance required. What there is though is the actual distance you have. Most ovens are 550mm from the back of the facia panel to the back of the oven. This leaves 10mm or 20mm depending if your cabs are 560mm or 570mm deep. Either way, you won't get a gas pipe behind the oven. The gas pipe needs to be run up to and very close to either corner of the oven housing.
